A ceremony to honor distinguished Jewish school students was held this year in Mohebban Hall of Tehran Jewish Association on 25-28 October 2009.
The celebration was held with the efforts and endeavors of the board of directors of the 17th round board of directors and the members of the House of Tehran Jewish Youths under the support of Tehran Jewish Association for different school levels including primary school, junior high school, senior high school and pre-university levels with the presence of the honorable representative of Jewish Iranians in Islamic Consultative Assembly, members of Tehran Jewish Association's board of directors and many other educational officials, school instructors and members of Associations of Parents and School Teachers. In the program 600 distinguished Jewish students were appraised, 60% of these students were studying in Jewish schools. Also the students who had achieved progress in other scientific areas were introduced and they received special prizes and certificates of recognition.
