How religion can reply violence to peace?

Week of Global Interfaith Dialogue at IID Institute on Tuesday 22nd
Shahrivar 13th Sept. 2005
The Iranian
thinkers of various religions took part in this gathering as the
followings:
IID Director, "Mr Seeyad Muhmmad Ali Abtahi"
Zoroaster Representative in Parliament "Mr. Korush Niknam"
Armenian Representative in Parliament "Mr.Younaten Betkolia"
Jewish Representative in Parliament "Mr. Moris Motamed"
At first
Mr. Abtahi introduced the thinkers one by one and thanked them for their
participating in the Week of Global Interfaith Dialogue at IID. The topic
of gathering was "How religion can reply violence to peace”
The first
speaker was Mr. Korush Niknam and he pointed out how Zoroaster Religion
looks at violence and how we can change violence that happening nowadays
to peace!
Then the second speaker was Mr.Younaten Betkolia and the third one was Mr.
Moris Motamed and they pointed out their ideas about the topic and at the
end Mr. Abtahi pointed out his idea about topic too.
Every thinker
mentioned some signs of their Holy Book and also mentioned how the Holy
Books can save human from violence and give them peace!
At the end of gathering was questions and answering of audience that have
been asked from thinkers.
