During this meeting, representatives of various ministries presented reports on their activities in the arena of human rights. Mr. Motamed, the Jewish representative at the Iranian Parliament and Mr. Haroun Yashayaei, the chairman of the TJC also provided a thorough explanation of different aspects of human rights violation cases against the Iranian Jews at this meeting. The aforementioned then started to discuss other
cases and exchanged views with the representatives of various ministries
and attorneys at law and certain cases were identified for further legal
follow-ups. The Jewish delegation also registered its strong protest
against some specific profanation and disrespect shown to their
religious sanctities. |
