In reply to the shameful speeches of the Chancellor of the University of Colombia and the scurrilous behavior of some people and their gathering, the Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan Jews Associations and the Representative of Jewish Community in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, issued a manifest which follows: The riots and disorders and abrupt behaviors which happened by some of the pretenders of free speech and democracy during the Islamic Republic of Iran’s president’s trip, once again proved that the pretenders of free speech and democracy have only considered the superficial aspects of these concepts. It is obvious that any riot and stress does not comply with the viewpoints of Prophet Judaism and based on the educations of Prophet Moses, the Jews believe that we must talk in a healthy and peaceful atmosphere, far from any tension. Since this behavior has been concentrated on the Republic of Iran’s president who is the representative of Iranian people, Iran Jews strongly condemn these discourtesies and self-wills and they insist on the strong will of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sacred System in efforts to create a fair peace throughout the world. 1- Eng.
